I am passionate about understanding the genetic underpinnings of diseases, with a particular focus on the connection between genes and various cancers. Currently, I am a research assistant in the Paull Lab, where I investigate the role of the protein ATMIN in cell senescence. My long-term goal is to pursue a Ph.D. in genetics and contribute to groundbreaking research in this field. In addition to my scientific pursuits, I am deeply interested in the humanities. As a student in the Plan II Honors Program at UT Austin, I have had the opportunity to explore diverse subjects, fostering my love for reading, writing, and storytelling. I believe in the power of stories to connect people and create meaningful communities.Whether through research or personal interactions, I strive to make a positive impact. I enjoy building connections with others, whether it's in the lab or over a cup of coffee, and I am committed to making the world a better place in both big and small ways.
