Nice to meet you, I’m Ainsley! I’ve always been a UX Designer, I just didn’t know it yet.I was always asking questions and always had an urge to understand how things were made. As a child you’d find me enthralled by the Mister Rogers factory episodes. Unwrapped with Marc Summers was another favorite. The path of needing to know how things worked, and how they were created led me right to UX design. Now I could not only understand how and why things are made, but get to actually be a part of creating it. I knew what I wanted to do, I just didn’t know I could actually get paid for it. So, I started my work in the restaurant field, where creating meaningful and easy experiences was exactly what I did everyday. From where the best place to sit was, to balancing the needs of a server with the wants of a customer. Convincing stakeholders of a decision is nothing in comparison to convincing someone they can’t split a bottomless mimosa. Originally from the east coast, now I’m one of the Los Angeles transplants you hear about, causing all the traffic. When I’m not working, you’ll find me hanging out with my dog Nacho, reading comic books, watching tv, keeping up with NASA news, or challenging myself with way too hard of a baking project.
