Working on large project for the Learning Transformation Team for Swinburne University, migrating their online courses from their old LMS (Blackboard) to the new one (Canvas).As a Senior Transition Officer it was my responsibility to oversee the migration process by Transition Officers to ensure the quality and timely delivery of course units to the new LMS, Canvas. This involved: - A good understanding of the Canvas LMS and it's capabilities - Ensuring the work of Transition Officers meets a certain standard of quality and consistency and is delivered on time. - Conducting meetings with university stakeholders and transition officers. - Leading the above interactions with a variety of personality types and using acute emotional intelligence to make sure discussions go smoothly. - Having a thorough understanding of where the program's responsibilities lie, along with their processes and being able to answer and redirect queries efficiently. - Emailing university stakeholders to set up meetings and answer any queries that arise.
