I have been working in the MEMS field since 2010.I’ve designed devices for SOI, AlN, SiN material flows as well as CMOS based interposers to enable heterogeneous integration of devices that are not monolithically compatible. R&D Electronics Engineer
I’ve designed devices for SOI, AlN, SiN material flows as well as CMOS based interposers to enable heterogeneous integration of devices that are not monolithically compatible. Types of devices I’ve helped design include: piezoelectric/electrostatic accelerometers, piezoelectric/optical microphones, PMUTs, ring resonators for ion traps, FBARS, Lamb-mode resonators, Lamé-mode resonators, and interposers for 2.5D integration. Writing programs in L-Edit and AutoCAD to facilitate auto-generation of masks. Performing multi-physics simulations of MEMS devices using COMSOL. Generating 3D models of MEMS and IC devices for use in FEA based on fab processing steps via in house software. Updating our in-house software, Sandia MEMS Design Tools, for new versions of AutoCAD.Manage centers L-Edit/AutoCAD infrastructure which includes software purchasing, maintenance of license servers, and internal customer support for installation and use of software.
