I am a Philippine and Australian trained international law academic with an interest in the legal professional work that enables the governance of oceans, marine plastic pollution, and post-colonial state-making projects. I was recently awarded a PhD in International Law from the University of Melbourne, where I previously obtained an LLM. Prior to academia, I advised and represented Philippine government litigants while teaching law in Manila.I have been an Attorney at the Philippine Bar since 2014.
