An aspiring BSc Accounting and Finance graduate from the University of Leicester. Had a working experience with Fox Associates in London as an Accounts Assistant. Aireen was an intern in Maybank, Malaysia under the Financial Reporting Department where she was supervised by the Bank Analysis Unit. Aireen's prominent role as a committee member is in the Leicester Malaysian Society where she became the vice president for two consecutive years. She hosted social events for the members for almost all festivity celebrations. In her penultimate year, she became both vice president and well-being officer in the Model United Nations (MUN) society where the society has brought Leicester's delegation to multiple MUN conferences across the UK.In her final year, Aireen has joined a youth organisation, EMAN UKE, where she was in charge of the Community Development division. She has used this platform to host an online webinar for students on "Hack Your Studies: A Scientific Perspective" with an invited guest speaker from the university. Aireen has also been working part-time as a Unibuddy where she became the university's ambassador and connected with prospective students digitally around the world to help them make more informed decisions about higher education. The above involvements portrays Aireen's leadership, communication and team-working skills apace with her studies in university. Her future plans are to further her studies in Islamic Finance to explore her passion in this field alongside applying for jobs in Finance. Realising the potential of Islamic Finance in today's world, she aspires to be an Islamic Finance expert to fulfill the needs of the industry's lack of talent, particularly in Malaysia. She is currently looking to secure a graduate role within the field of Finance to gain experience.
