I partner with the Elkhart, Indiana management team on initiatives such as: strategy and policy implementation, recruitment, employee relations, retention, training and engagement.

Elkhart Products Corporation (EPC) is part of Aalberts Industries N.V. and is one of the world's largest manufacturers of wrot copper fittings. There are approximately 500 employees in four locations. My responsibilities included: employee and labor relations, benefits and systems management and recruiting. I also provided assistance to the Vice President of Human Resources.

NAS is a South Bend based national signage and consulting organization. In my HR role I managed all HR functions: recruitment, retention, training, employee relations, HRIS, benefit administration. Wellness program introduction. Managed company provided tutoring program. Provided coaching and communication enhancement exercises to individuals and teams. Candidate assessment and job description survey/benchmarking through the Prevue system. During my employment with NAS I attended monthly HR Strategy Forums with a small group of very talented HR professionals in Indianapolis, Indiana. The HR Strategy Forums were led by Vistage and I am thankful for the experience that I had with them. Mike, Sally and Nancy are great facilitators.

Crowe is a top 10 public accounting and consulting firm. During my time with Crowe, I managed the intranet for people related informational items such as: benefits, open enrollment, training, travel, compensation and performance evaluations. Provided statistical analysis on turnover and retention of staff. Orientation programs including experienced hire orientation. Managed relocations. Researched and rolled out same gender domestic partner benefits.

Oaklawn provides inpatient, outpatient and residential behavioral health services and compassionate care to adolescents through older adults. In my role I served as a strategic partner to the executive management team and provided HR leadership throughout the organization. Managed all benefit plans including: health, dental, 403(b), short & long term disability. Managed a team of HR professionals. Reported to the HR committee of the Board of Directors on a quarterly basis. Led performance & service based recognition programs.From 10/2001 through 03/2003, I worked in the Assistant Director role, employed by Geminus. Geminus provided HR services to Oaklawn, as well as two other behavioral health facilities in Indiana through an ASO. Oaklawn outsourced their HR, finance, billing and marketing functions to Geminus. In this position I handled benefit administration, leave of absence, Human Resource Information System (HRIS).

Managed all FMLA, STD/LTD claims. Involved in HRIS conversion to Lawson - verified dates of hire, benefit plans,etc. Build all new benefit plans in automated system. Managed 401(k) plan including: enrollments, terminations, loans and contributions.
