I taught students with a conditional offer to UoT but lack the language requirement academic English such as how to avoid plagiarism through summarizing, paraphrasing and synthesizing. I also taught hedging cohesive devices, how to find good sources and their own authorial voice.

Students learnt how to form a literary interpretive thesis statement, do close reading and incorporate works of criticism. After the midterm reading week, I would grade their partial drafts, conduct tutorials in which I would elicit questions that would scaffold the rest of the writings they will do that term. We give in depth feedback to students critique on the bibliographic essay genre related to linguistics. When pivoting to Sublimewade adaptors, I aided in a writing travel guide book and edit the other ones about different cities. This with the promotional plug about the adaptor helped the sales grow exponentially and we sold the brand at a very high amount despite COVID halt in travelling. I was initially responsible for building a database about traveling which involved flipping through numerous magazines and browsing travel blogs galore as well as helping our editors plan for their trips. Gradually they assigned me to proofread on the material written by the writers which utilized the knowledge I equipped in university. In the final stage of my internship I had the privilege to do some writing and learn to use their internal software.
