When I first started in this position my focus was allocation assessment, writing purchase orders and reviewing order acknowledgments from vendors for accuracy. Over the last few years I have been able to focus the ordering aspects of my job to our commercial division, writing and managing open orders with vendors as well as managing project timelines to ensure that when any area of the job was ready to move forward we had material on hand. Additionally I began managing warehouse inventory, stock ordering, returns and monitoring price increases. I have fostered strong connections with our vendors allowing us to easily navigate purchases and claims.

Main job duties included review of template files and site conditions to determine seam placement as well as finalizing material allocation and slab layout for projects. This required knowledge of material specifications for fabrication and installation as well as an eye for grain flow and how to achieve the best possible utilization of materials.

Along with below mentioned duties becoming the lead of the department meant training all incoming employees, working with the project coordinator trainer to bridge gaps in company wide process training. I monitored workload throughout the department and approved time off requests to make sure that all processes were running efficiently and client projects were not being delayed.

Processing template paperwork and updating CRM for changes to the client's order. If any funds are owed or payment is due I contact to collect on changes. Originally only direct payments were processed by me but as my role progressed and our B2B relationship grew and I also worked closely with our business partners to strengthen their new payment processing system during it's testing phase.

I started in general order entry and data processing and progressed to processing change orders and cleaning up jobs for billing.

Marketing specialists lay the ground work for client relationships. Daily activities include prospecting, sales through cold calling, sharing product knowledge with potential clients, and researching industries. All while striving to beat sales goals.

This position focused on re-branding and reorienting PSU Dining. To achieve this, effort was put into creative strategy and communicating to students on their level and in their terms. Interns were brought in to aid in these efforts and provide a fresh perspective. I pioneered a partnership between PSU dinning and the PSU radio station to strengthen brand awareness and viability of the lesser known restaurants on campus.

As a team member stocking, answering customer questions, zoning, basic sales, transitioning merchandise between seasons. As an operator additional duties include signing, answering phones, managing multiple phone lines taking messages and managing fitting-rooms.

In this role I was responsible for, answering customer questions, ringing purchases, stocking shelves, and preparing for inventory. I continually met sales goals through customer engagement and product knowledge and research. My main departments were focused in fragrance and home but I cross trained in luggage and bridal registry before moving on.
