I am responsible for solving indoor environmental problems for our clients. A hot topic lately has centered around mold, dampness and its effects upon the health of individuals and animals. We also work with issues that are Immediately Dangerous to Life and Health at Home and in the Workplace. We are called to investigate potential fungal growth in Real Estate, taking air and surface samples, writing reports, protocols, verifying and clearing homes and buildings. These homes/buildings may be currently occupied or be listed for sale.We also provide remediation and long-term solutions for the improvement of the Indoor Environment in Homes and the Workplace.

We speak and teach communications and sales training. Communication includes the proper use of the Telephone, handling calls, screening calls, resolving issues, preparation, energy levels. Sales Training includes Cold Calls, Prospecting, Setting Appointments, Finding the Decision Maker, Closing, Securing the contractual commitment, the importance of humor and Other Fun Topics.

Recently appointed as Judge of Elections in Precinct 08/07 in the City of Lancaster, PA, Michael recommended the Majority and Minority Inspectors for appointment and selected his own clerks and machine inspector.The Judge of Elections is responsible for conducting the election at the local precinct polling place on the day of the primary and general election which are held twice per year. Additionally, a training class is held for each election and a preparation time is also held for each election. The Judge coordinates with the county election officials, receiving all ballots, machines and other documents necessary to conduct a lawful election. Furthermore, the Judge, together with the Inspectors and clerks, opens the polls and manages the election day process. At the close of the day, the Judge is responsible for closing the polls, collating all ballots and counters and returning these sealed documents to Election Headquarters.

I setup an Air Duct Cleaning division, managed employees, handled sales and service for the third leg of the business. The other two legs, being Fuel Oil Delivery and the sales and service of Heating and Air Conditioning equipment. My role was to bring Indoor Air Quality Services and Consulting to the business as a differentiator to the marketplace. We did this successfully adding significant revenue with a Gross Profit Margin of 85%.

I stirred the sales pot in the counties of Berks and Schuykill in Pennsylvania. I helped Rich Cava get at least one good sale during this short time, as I received a commision check in addition to my draw.

I was the manager with direct responsibility for the Outside Sales Force for both the Regulated and Unregulated Business Services. My interactions were with all other Telco Departments, including Outside Plant, Central Office, Business Office, Accounting, and Executive areas. This was a small Pennsylvania Telephone Company located in Birdsboro, Berks County.The company is now part of Windstream Communications, which purchased D&E Communications (formerly D&E Telephone Company), which had purchased Conestoga Telephone & Telegraph some years ago.

I was responsible for the interconnect sales activities of the Central Pennsylvania office of unregulated premises telecommunications equipment and the coordination of sales activities with Bell of PA, the regulated sister company. My accounts included the State of New Jersey and the Commonwealth of PA.I also spearheaded, with a company vice president, the first sale of software in Bell Atlantic. The software was named MODE, designed to automate the assignment of cable and pairs of wire from the central office to the subscriber of telephone service.

I was an Account Executive with Bell of Pennsylvania, handling the GEM sector. GEM stands for Government, Education, Medical. My accounts were in Central Pennsylvania and included the major school districts from Easton to Dubois, PA, Associations, which are primarily headquartered in Harrisburg, Hospitals, including Hahnemann Hospital in Philadelphia, as well as Hospitals in Lancaster PA.At the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania account, I worked with the Department of General Services in procurement and in contracts, as the interface between DGS counsel and Bell of PA Vice President.

I took over an old territory, tripled the business, earned early recognition within the first year. Became the youngest in experience as a Sales Trainer in 13th month in the business, within 2 years became Regional Manager while remaining within the top 10 percent of all salesmen in the company. The company was headquartered in St. Louis and later became Forest Laboratories, Inc. I was then recruited into Bell of PA.
