As a student ambassador for Illinois Promise scholarship, I demonstrated communication and collaboration skills by serving on the advisory board and contributing suggestions and feedbacks to the I-promise leadership team. I facilitated academic events to help transfer students to the University of Illinois while representing Illinois Promise at events with key stakeholders such as mentors, donors and campus administrations

My passion for leadership aided me to pursue a leadership certificate by engaging in strength quest, leadership courses, volunteering and attending workshops. I also had the opportunity to serve as a small group facilitator to 10 students by helping them develop interpersonal skills while working with others.

My experience as a security analyst intern gave me the opportunity to Research and analyze 50 crimes provided by the Chicago Police Department for Daley College and 13 other offsite campuses for the Annual Jeanne Clery Act Report for 2015. I was able to Forecast crimes and qualitative information within specified parameters using excel by identifying their compliance with the checklist of the department of education’s requirement.I also Maintained daily crime logs and monthly incident by completing report variance analysis along with the creation and presentation of trend reports. I worked on anticipating security alerts and developing risk mitigation plans to maintain security policies.
