Profile bio

About Aisha Baum

I am no stranger to adapting and thriving under change after moving fourteen times as a child. I learned to love new landscapes, faces, and cultures, while also appreciating the fleeting time I might have with any given person or place. I found that words, on the other hand, are concrete; this lead me down the path of writing. Writing first became an outlet from the chaos that surrounded me, and it was not long until I realized my words could impact and resonate with others. By college, my focus shifted toward utilizing confessional poetry as a means of cathartic expression from female oppression and mental illness as a way to explore my own self and orchestrate to others this releasing reflection. My approach to sales is no different - we are all looking for similar experiences, and when you happen upon a town such as Steamboat Springs, someone like me who never had a consistent 'home' can suddenly learn the meaning of the word. Oftentimes the best experiences are based upon interactions: a kind exchange of words, a moose sighting from the ski lift, or the patrol pup rolling on her back for you with friendly innocence. We are really in the business of selling experiences and these small interactions that make the most impactful and memorable impressions. I fill my time with creativity and nature as an aspiring professional home-chef, a piccoloist and on the spot lyricist, an icy skiing aficionado and fresh-turn chaser, a morel forager, and a sun-soaking mountain observer.
