Her Excellency Aisha Miran is the Director General of the Knowledge and Human Development Authority and member of the Executive Council of Dubai. She’s focused on building a world-leading education sector that can meet with the ambitions of Dubai, its leadership, and its people. She has over 22 years of distinguished service as a leader in the public sector, focused on national agenda development, strategy setting, policy making, government and governance reform, national performance tracking, and strategic initiative management. In her previous role as Assistant Secretary General at The Executive Council of Dubai, she drove socio-economic progress with visionary initiatives. Her career highlights include managing Dubai strategies, spearheading the development of major strategic initiatives such as The Executive Council Strategic Agendas, Dubai Education Strategy 2020, Dubai Plan 2021, Dubai Industrial Strategy 2030, Dubai Plan Creative Labs, the Dubai Disability Strategy 2020, the Government Games, Government Boards and Committees Governance, and Dubai Schools. She has represented the Government of Dubai at international conferences and co-authored cases on performance and strategy management. Aisha holds an EMBA and a Bachelor's in Management Information System from the American University of Sharjah. She is also a Member of the Boards of TECOM, the Emirates Human Resources Development Council, and UAE University.
