Aisha is passionate about adventure, real-life experiences, and building connections. She thrives on diversity and understanding different perspectives, often finding inspiration through meeting new people. A lifelong learner, Aisha eagerly shares her knowledge, which has shaped her career in impactful ways.She spent a decade at Navy Federal, the world’s largest credit union, holding various leadership roles in contact center management, project management, and public relations. In 2008, she discovered her true passion when she developed and implemented the company’s first social media strategy, paving the way for its digital transformation.Driven by this new interest, Aisha took on pivotal roles at leading social media SaaS companies like Sprinklr and Engage121, where she contributed to sales growth. She later joined Trier & Company, offering agency services in social media and digital marketing, followed by serving as head of business development at ROOM8 and leading social media operations for JUST Water.In 2018, she founded her own marketing consultancy, SociStory, based in the San Francisco Bay Area. By 2024, she joined bSocial Strategy to provide strategic oversight and client management, leveraging her 16+ years of expertise in social media and digital marketing to deliver value to clients.Aisha holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from George Mason University and an Associate’s Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University. Her leadership extended to roles such as chairperson at SocialMedia.org and board member of Social N Worldwide. Additionally, she taught Social Media and Digital Marketing at San Diego State University.Outside of work, Aisha finds joy in spending time with her dogs, Cannoli and Da Vinci. She enjoys international travel, competitive pool, exploring music from every genre, and cooking dishes inspired by her native Trinidad & Tobago and her global travels.
