About Aisha Kilbride (Née Tarayan)

My passion has always been in events. I love the industry and the people in it. You've got to be a certain type of person to be in events... if you know, you know! After 12 years' experience in the fast-paced live events world, specialising in all things production, I've gained an expert understanding of what it takes to produce and execute an incredible event. From destination weddings and luxury brand product launches to Warner Music's after-parties for the Brits and Grammys, there's nothing I haven't seen. I built up my industry knowledge of what's possible, what materials are available and how EXTRA you can be when pulling a design together. I understand how important that final touch is and getting that 'wow' moment. So I decided I wanted to design and build incredible 'wow' moments to last, not just for one time use, so I started up my own prop hire company, My Colour Is Gold.
