The Junior Economic Club® is an entirely student-led 501(c)(3) non-profit that firmly believes that given the right guidance and support, high school students are capable of addressing the issues facing our society in practical, sustainable, community-building ways. The current education system does not adequately prepare students for the growing complexity of the economy or the constantly evolving business world. The JEC seeks to fill that gap and help students develop the skills, knowledge and agility necessary to make an impact. We do this by introducing high school students to the real business world through networking events, workshops, and community outreach initiatives, connecting them with the people they need to make a difference. By equipping students early, the Junior Economic Club® is guaranteeing Japan’s continuing prosperity for generations to come.
