Involves client-relationship management, tracking emerging trends and services, writing proposals and plans, and looking at long-term objectives to meet business needs and requirements.

Defined the product roadmap for OncoMD, a comprehensive somatic mutation database that is part of the genomic solutions offered by Medgenome. Improved and optimized the data curation and validation processes to enable the usage of the database for clinical interpretation and reporting. Managed a 9-member curation team and worked closely with the software, bioinformatics, marketing and R&D teams. Managed global clients and used their feedback to improve the product.

Handled the complete life cycle of NGS data analysis projects for big pharma clients. This involved proposal writing, numerous client interactions, literature survey, data analysis and results submission. Gained experience in a range of genomics applications such as DNA/RNA Seq, Antibody sequencing and data analysis for genomics based clinical trials.

As part of the R&D team for microarray and NGS data analysis software products was involved in various aspects of the software release cycle such as feature development, testing and documentation. Subsequently, my role expanded to include customer interactions which resulted in collaborative projects, data analysis services and publications.
