I am a part of India Finance controllership team primarily involved in Stat reporting under IGAAP and audit management. Further I was also pioneering in implementation of Ind AS 116 on Leases. I am also involved in RBI related compliances on subsidiary APR filing and review of ICFR (Internal Control over Financial Reporting) compliances.

My work here was primarily into financial reporting, managing of funds received for project implementation, maintenance of fixed assets register, verification & approval of contract payments and handling of Income Tax Assessments. I have worked on evaluation of different sources of funding for phase-2 metro expansion and appraisal of investment options for optimising return on idle land banks held by the company.I also guided a small team responsible for monthly reconciliation of Bank statements and handling of statutory compliances.

My work here was primarily into financial auditing of private companies and banks. I have also worked on a variety of assignments around financial due diligence (analysis and report writing), business and share valuation and Indian regulatory compliance in relation to income taxes and foreign exchange transactions.I was also a chief resource person providing guidance to audit trainees. I have made several internal presentations on topics such as Ind AS, ICFR and Standards on Auditing.

I was a faculty at the Institute of Company Secretaries of India teaching Information Technology paper for CS final students. I  was felicitated by ICSI recognizing my contribution to the student community as a part of their Teacher’s Day celebration.

I was involved in equity research, working on a proprietary valuation model owned by a leading investment bank who is a business partner with CRISIL.

I was involved in audit of corporates and bank audits.
