ISM- Independent Study & Mentorship- In this program, students are given the opportunity to choose a topic of their choice and perform a year long research along with a mentor to expand their knowledge and gain real life experience in their field. Throughout my ism journey, I was able to identify and understand the causes and effects of Alzheimer’s Disease as my main focus though out my study was neurodegenerative diseases.

Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex

In this internship, we discuss the teachings of Krishna as mentioned in the Bhagavad Gita and it’s relation to real life skills and qualities in individuals. We create content and educate the youth about qualities such as leadership, confidence, failure, empowerment, and motivation.

In this program, we researched a neurodegenerative disorder, Multiple Sclerosis which is a disorder that affects the nerves preventing individuals from performing daily tasks and discussed the inventions that we could possibly create to prevent this disease.

With dedication and determination, studied and memorized 701 verses and 18 chapters of hindu scripture, the Bhagavad Gita in a 10 month- 1 year program and received a gold medal and certificate from the presence of Sri Ganapati Sachinanda Swamiji at Karya Siddhi Hanuman Temple, Dallas Texas. This program has taught me the definition of hard work and success from day one all the way to the end. Although it was the toughest roller coaster in my life and tested my patience and abilities, it was the most rewarding and fulfilling experience in my lifetime that I will never forget about.
