Worked on Nuage's data center environment consisting of linux nodes, providing and maintaining infrastructure for the company's Software Developers and QA team to emulate customer environments in order to develop and test Nuage's SDN based data center solutions product. Gathered knowledge on SDN concepts as Nuage's product was dog-fed into its own infrastructure; hence gained understanding of VRS (similar to openVswitch) and VSD/VSC which is analogous to an SDN controller.Other responsibilities included - Troubleshooting incidents: network, Linux system troubleshooting, problem solving and documentation of these incidents.- Improvement tasks - recognize bottlenecks or improvements to existing implementations. June-July 2017Python Application - Automatic Rate Change NotifierPart of a team of interns. Built an application for the sales team of the company to be notified of daily rate changes of a service provided by multiple vendors/aggregators. Gmail API, Google Drive API were used to automatically download attachments and re-upload the final sheet with marked changes. The application also converted these attachments of all file types to a consistent format and built a single datasheet with all prices, and formatted the price changes to track the price changes and for easy identification. July- September 2017APIs - MEAN StackBuilt simple APIs on Nodejs, Express, Angular2 and MongoDB to test SMS and voice services provided by another company, Restcomm. Built various applications in-order to exploit and incorporate SMS and voice capabilities into the applications. Used Restcomm API, Restcomm Cloud services, Restcomm Visual Designer extensively.September 2017Gained exposure to Elasticsearch and Kibana.October 2017Testing SIP Server Worked under a senior engineer to test a new SIP Server. Used SIPTester.December 2017 Java Application - Updating Elasticsearch documents.Part of a team of two-intern team. Given the extracted information from emails, used Elasticsearch's search API to query documents within multiple indices which match parameters extracted from the emails. Used the corresponding index names and IDs to update them and add a new field to the doc.
