“Data is the oil of the 21st century, and analytics is the combustion engine.” And I firmly affiliate with this analogy. But, why? Personally, time and again, during academic projects, symposiums, workshops, and presentations the word “Data” was at the forefront. Also, the data sets and the analytical software application played a significant role in drawing accurate results for a research-based academic project titled “Impact of Organisation culture on organisational commitment and job satisfaction". As a HR consultant in the past, I am guided by instinct and intuition. My experience in developing, owning and optimizing HR reports, providing consultation to users and lead cross functional teams to address business issues backed by data has helped to drive the organization to action. Being a compulsive learner, and an avid thinker, I enjoy meeting people and interacting with diverse cultures and practices. A Penchant for human resource management, business analytics, and computer applications has driven me to pursue my Masters in “business analytics” from the University of Texas, Dallas.
