I hosted 'The Uplift' on DCUfm with one of my peers to discuss mental wellbeing in a way that would apply to students. We would also discuss popular wellness trends and look into the science behind them whilst evaluating their effectiveness. I developed the ability to structure shows every week, operate the equipment and software in the studio and deliver content in a live format as a means of entertainment.

I worked part-time in Supervalu as a Deli assistant, Sales Assistant and a Cashier for the duration of my studies in University.

I have been delivering talks on the subject of mental health and wellness for seven years, both at corporate and non-profit events. My passion for public speaking grew wings after I lost my Dad to suicide in 2013. I use public platforms to share my story and encourage productive and honest conversation around mental illness. I wanted to be brave so that my message would reach anyone who was struggling while also promoting a culture of openness and kindness in the communities that I visited.I have been speaking publicly about mental health since 2015 when I featured as a guest on Ryan Tubridy's breakfast show on 2fm. As mentioned before, I have been given the opportunity to continue speaking at both corporate and non-profit events. Vocalise is an award- winning DCU social enterprise that aims to improve comunication skills in a fun and engaging way. As communications officer, I devised and delivered workshops for public speaking. I also produced content for our online platforms such as podcasts and Tik Toks to accompany and promote the work we were doing as a team.
