I am a Registered ANP, RNP, Children's and General Nurse working in Cork University Hospital for 13+ years. I have 6 months experience in caring for infants aged between 0-18 months. 3 months experience in one of Corks few remaining Accident and Emergency Departments and I now have extensive experience working on the Paediatric ward from 2012-2019 caring for children aged between 18 months and 16 years with both Medical and Surgical care needs. I have worked with the Jack and Jill Children's Foundation caring for children with neuro-disabilities in their home providing some much needed respite to the families of children with life-limiting conditions for the last 6 years. I have a MSc in Paediatric Palliative and Complex Care, an area of nursing I am extremely passionate about and dedicated to. I have specialised in Paediatric Epilepsy working as a CNS in Paediatric Epilepsy for 3.5 years at which point I was successful in securing Candidate ANP in Paediatirc Epilepsy in February 2023 and completed my candidacy in June 2024 to become a Registered Advanced Nurse Practitioner specialising in Paediatric Epilepsy. I completed my Nurse Prescribing Certificate in 2021 and strive to provide the best, most up to date & timely care for the patients attneding our service. I love the work I do and continue to learn more to provide the best care to my patients. I work in a fantastic team of knowledgeable & dedicated Nurse Specialists & Neurology Consultants.
