As part of a fully-funded fellowship from IIT Gandhinagar, my two colleagues and I undertook a 42-day research expedition across India on a limited budget. Our study focused on the local street markets of India, exploring their cultural, economic, and social dynamics. This journey covered 12 states, beginning in the southern regions, traversing through the North East, and concluding in the northern part of the country. The research findings and insights from our travels were compiled into a documentary film titled “Bazaar Banjaaras”, which was submitted to IIT Gandhinagar as a comprehensive account of our exploration and analysis.

Under the supervision of Prof. Priya Nair Rajeev, Associate Professor in the Department of Organizational Behavior and Human Resources at IIM Kozhikode, I conducted an in-depth research study on the emotional labor experiences of special educators. The study employed a qualitative, ethnographic approach and was based in Calicut. The final research paper was submitted to the IIM Research Bureau Committee for review and evaluation.
