• Corporate and Interbank Settlements • Managed CLS settlement processes, ensuring timely and accurate execution while minimizing operational risks. • Preparing and releasing manual payments such as MT103, 202, 202cov, 210, 292, 299, 199, 192 (Swift/Plasma/ARPE) and ensuring all the currency requirements are met. • Exposure to Global platforms like GTSS, FXALL and MISYS. • Coordinating settlement requests from Local Back Office for netting, and split payments, etc. and ensuring NDF Fixings are completed for Settlements. • Monitoring and processing FX operations including handling exceptions, tracking settlement details and resolving settlement issues by liaising with client/Middle/front office before value date • Involved in critical BCP activities of the Team. • Actively participating in cross-training within the team to create successful backups for all markets. • Performing End of the Day control function and updating the same in control portal. • SPOC for global clients and CLS Bank for all the queries • Managed CLS contingency every quarter to ensure team is equipped to handle real life scenario and provided training to team for the same. • Processing Special Handling Requests as required. Processing manual payments in settlement of FX transactions. • Taking immediate corrective action on erroneous payments to eliminate/reduce the potential risk of financial loss and reputational damage to the bank. • Liaising with client for any settlement related queries like payment instructions, settlement method (Gross and Nettings) • Proactively monitoringqueries/issues raised by sensitive clients and resolving them by collaborating with other stakeholders and received appreciation from management as well .
