When I was 16 years old, my friend and me started an online electronic music label (Gamroom Records) as a hobby with a limited budget (we were almost kids), but we ended up with almost 30 releases from artists around the world. My friend's job in Gamroom was all the legal part (contracts, royalties, payments to artists etc...) and also planification for releases, contact media etc... My job was all related to:• Graphic Designer: Design all our corporative identity songs artworks, social media banners and designs, website and releases promotion campaigns.• Marketing: Push up the label through the internet with online ads campaigns on Facebook and Instagram and push up our releases. Contact different media (press, radios, online magazines etc..) to get more audience.• Talent recruiter: Being always up to date on new releases and new talents, search for new artists to release their tracks on our online label, and listen to and evaluate all the song demos that we received for release on our label. When we found new artists, also have meetings with them for the release strategy and future releases.Although It was a hobby, it almost covered my entire lifetime on those years and I´m so proud of what I learned, how I grew personally and professionally and of course, what we achieve being only kids :)
