I am an export professional with 15-year experience. 3-experience managing a company in Dubai and focused in the Middle East.I started, after school, in MSL audiovisual in Madrid. Buying TV formats (programs and series) in the international market. The objective was to sell these programs to any Spanish TV broadcasters. If you are Spanish, I am sure, you have seen on TV “Hermano Mayor”. This was my biggest success. I bought it and we sold to Cuatro TV.After four years in the TV market, I changed to the plastic welding sector. And I am still here.I started in a multi-brand distributor company specialized in plastic welding machines. It was 2010 and the Spanish construction crisis made a lot of companies find new customers in the international markets. We started from zero. NO customers, not experience exporting or with the logistics… Most of the time competing against our providers and nobody knows who we were.We started going to International Trade Events, sending emails, creating a multilingual website, and traveling. Traveling a lot. We found countries where nobody was working, and we attacked them. It was most countries in Africa and South America. After 8 years, we sell in more than 40 countries and we had branches in North Africa, Central, and South America and the Middle East. Doing around 75% of the turnover in the export markets.Now, as I wrote it before, I am managing a company in the Middle East.I am a very good negotiator. I adapt my strategy to the client’s culture, and I try to arrive at win-win agreements. I managed multinational teams. I have a large experience with international paperwork and logistics. I am used to working with international databases. I report to weekly and monthly about our activity to the company owners. But if you ask me about my specialty, I love to start a project from 0.I am fair with my teammates, trustful with my bosses, and strict with myself. If I call any of my old colleagues, I am sure that all of them will be happy to talk with me. and 100% of my old employers, will work with me again if I ask them. That is my best achievement. Today I speak 7 languages fluently. Next year, maybe 8. I follow the GTD method and other activities and time systems. That is the reason why people think my days are longer than 24 hours.
