Technical Lead on Converged Infrastructure.- infrastructure design for all things converged (compute/network/storage) on VCE Vblock and Netapp Flexpod.- End to end knowledge of application stack that is housed within the infrastructure.- procured and managed of complete system roll out in multiple EOL initiatives.- rebuilt and designed AIX to Linux (x86 virtualization on ESXi) for company CRE (Continuous Runtime Environment).- Managed customer/business expectations and relationships.- Designed company wide access policies to management infrastructure (on Power and x86).

Technical lead on POWER Virtualization.Worked with SAN team on distribution of SAN to host in both HACMP set up and non-HACMP set ups.Managed over 3000 LPARs and over 200 VIO servers.Built entire Application Hosting Environment and later on Global Hosting Offering that currently controls internal and external customers.

Sr. Project Manager and Team Leader for the AIX Consolidation Team.Worked directly with vendor on procuring end goal system farm on Power hardware (p570s). Worked on the SAN team on distribution of fibre storage to all LPARs.Managed the AIX Consolidation project, including working directly with all the key players (Application Team, Systems Support, Networking, Facility planning, and SAN team). Trained additional team members on HMC and hardware set up.

Provided Level 1 and Level 2 AIX and RS/6000 end user support for Canada and the Caribbean. Direct liaison to support infrastructure in Dallas, TX. Worked with development on bug fixes and APAR management.Worked with onsite hardware support representatives on troubleshooting all POWER related issues.Technical mentor for level 1 support.Worked with CritSit management office on difficult and sensitive customer situations.Often working remotely at Sterling Forest, BCRS site with external customers. Advance knowledge of AIX internals.

Internship as a Junior Systems Officer for the Communication and Information Branch of the Ontario Ministry of Health.Performed general System Administration duties, including day to day support of the PCs (Windows 3.1 and 95) and branch servers (OS/2 AS2.1 and Windows NT 3.51).Projects included branch conversion from Windows 3.1 to 95 desktops. Including re-image and re-distribution of 120 PCs. Worked with vendor on purchasing and review of system compatibility.Installed and configured new Windows NT server to handle departmental client/server architecture. Main application services include all available Ministry of Health documentation for general public mail and distribution.
