I don’t know about you guys, but I have several ambitions when I was a kid. Among those, there is one job that always lingers in my mind and motivates me to achieve the highest academic qualification possible; a scientist.I am always passionate about research because I believe it can lead to a better lifestyle. Moreover, research is also a never-ending learning process which I truly desire. Researches could facilitate industries to obtain higher output, providing SMEs with advance technologies for their process, or to save more energy especially the enormous utilization of fossil fuels, just to name a few. The latter is the reason why I dive into the biomass energy field. I have been involved with biomass energy since my final year project during the undergraduate study (2009) until the present where I just finished my PhD at the end of 2020. The highlight of my PhD is when I received Sanggar Sanjung Awards from USM in 2019 for both of my publications.Aside from research, I also gained a brief industrial experience from 2014 to 2016. During this period, my interpersonal and communication skills improve a lot. This job required me to deal with a lot of people and departments to achieve the company’s target and customers’ satisfaction. I also realize that research and industrial fields are completely different, and I am hopeful for more industrial experiences if given the suitable chance.I am also passionate about martial arts, particularly Seni Silat Cekak Malaysia since it develops my courage and patience. I believe we should always capable to defend ourselves from any unwanted danger and not constantly relies upon others. Besides, I also involved with research work relating to Seni Silat Cekak Malaysia and had published a few conference papers.I love to spend times with my family during my leisure time. My kids are my stress-reliever, and I wish to cherish every moment possible with them before they have grown up.
