Brian Allan Jackson (AJ) is an impact-focused executive experienced in building and leading platforms in the private, public and non-profit sectors to achieve financial, social and environmental results. He is President of LEO Impact Capital, an investment management platform that acquires, finances and operates workforce housing using a Impact Framework to generate financial returns for investors and increase residents’ financial well-being. LEO’s business lines include investments (debt & equity), asset management, and advisory services. The gross asset value of LEO’s owned and managed portfolio exceeds $925MM. LEO is a subsidiary of JBG SMTH (NYSE:JBGS).Previously AJ was a partner with EYA, LLC, a Washington, DC area urban infill development company, where he led more than one billion dollars of double and triple bottom line social impact investments. Earlier in his career, AJ served as Chief of Staff to the Administrator of the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA).AJ serves on the Board of Directors for Up For Growth, a national, cross-sector member network committed to solving the housing shortage and affordability crisis through data-driven research and evidence-based policy. He also serves of the Advisory Board for Center Creek Capital, the Fannie Mae Affordable Housing Advisory Council, the National Multifamily Housing Council's Workforce Housing Committee, and the Advisory Board of the Randall Lewis Center for Sustainability in Real Estate at the Urban Land Institute (ULI). He chaired the ULI working group that created the 10 Principles for Embedding Racial Equity in Real Estate Development. Earlier in his career he led the successful merger of two regional trade associations to create the Maryland Building Industry Association, one of the nation's largest regional homebuilder organizations.AJ earned a B.A. with honors from the University of Alabama and an M.B.A. with distinction from Harvard Business School.
