I am a sophomore finance major at Miami University Farmer School of Business seeking an internship in the field of finance for the summer of 2025. I am flexible on location and am willing to relocate for an internship opportunity. I have been on the President’s List for the Fall and Spring semester of 2023 at Miami University. Through my two years at Miami University, I have developed my technical skills in financial and managerial accounting, Micro and Macroeconomics, Microsoft Office, Python, and SQL through coursework. Other business courses have allowed me to showcase my soft skills, such as communication, teamwork, time management, and leadership. Lastly, Miami University’s First Year Integrated Core allowed me to test all these skills in a real-world setting by working with a client, FC Cincinnati.Outside of the classroom, I am very involved in campus activities. I am a selected member of the Miami University Investment Banking Club. This club focuses on preparing members for their personal investment banking recruiting process. The club does this through weekly meetings where technical skills, financial modeling, networking practices, and recent market trends are discussed. The club also arranges in-person meetings where current investment bankers come to campus to network and recruit students directly from the club. In addition, the club provides opportunities to showcase your technical skills through case competitions, such as the William Blair Case Competition, where teams use financial modeling to create pitches for real-world clients. This club has allowed me to exponentially grow my knowledge in Investment banking and has grown my passion for the industry. On top of this, I serve as the treasurer for Theta Chi Fraternity, Gamma Kappa chapter. This role primarily involves arranging finances and budgets for the school year's philanthropy, social, and fraternity events. These experiences have helped me grow and build on technical and interpersonal skills in a real-world setting.Looking forward, I am beyond excited to continue my coursework and extracurricular involvement, as it will help me gain the knowledge and skills to succeed in an internship and, ultimately, a full-time position.
