• Establish the Advanced Placement (AP) Statistics program and exceed the yearly AP statistics exam pass rate goal set by national sponsor
• Sponsor Junior Civitan organization in the school and community effectively raising over $10,000 and coordinating multiple events for young adults and students with autism
• Teach ACT preparatory classes after school resulting in 3 of 8 students earning a perfect 36 on the ACT exam their Junior year

• Teach pre - Algebra, state tested Algebra 1, and Algebra 2 resulting in a 100 % class pass rate
• Tutor all high school math courses from 3:30 – 5:30 after school in partnership with the 21st Century Tutorial program
• Mentor other teachers on behavior management and leadership styles in the classroom

• Selected from approximately 35,000 applicants nationwide to join national teacher corps of recent college graduates who commit two years to teach in under-resourced public schools.
