No matter where I've found myself in my journey of a career path, I've always gravitated towards people and relationship centered positions where I can effectively use my people and communication skills to ensure success for patrons and the company team. As a teacher, my classroom focus is on creating a community in which children, teachers and families are all responsible for keeping the classroom safe for themselves and others. I believe in the boundless potential for kindness and learning of children: when given responsibility, guidance and opportunity, children will chose to be kind and care for one another. Within these classroom communities, I engage in Reggio-inspired, Anti-Racist education practices, centering an appreciation for difference, active learning, and collaboration between children.
