Being in a smaller organisation (150 employees) senior management like myself tend to be actively involved in many aspects of the business, often overlapping with your department. Some of my more routine and general duties includes, but not limited to: • Managing and coordinating monthly reporting, budgeting and reforecast processes.• Management of full finance team. • Facilitating the operations and development of the company’s finance departments including creating and reviewing policies, budgeting, recruiting, training and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures.• Overseeing costings, stock processes, stock reconciliations, BOM’s accuracy etc.• Ensuring pricing and SP’s on SKU’s are up to date, live and accurate for both the distribution and retail channels.• Facilitating stock take processes and variance analysis and reporting. • Taxation (VAT, PAYE, Corporate tax, duties & exporting taxes)• Daily & Monthly Cashflow planning and implementation.• Assisting with external stakeholders such as creditors, service providers, auditors, banks and customers.• Investment and spend planning (Annually, quarterly and monthly).• Management of the full GL function of the operation, from source documentation to AFS level. • Monthly board meetings reporting and strategic planning implementation. • Annual strategic planning involvement and oversight. • Payroll reviews & sign off.• Various other duties relating to the operations and management of the distribution and retail aspects of the business.

Investigate material hazards and shortages and the implementation of strategy to mitigate this risk.
