Leadership, time management, effective communication, and building systems are at the core of how I operate. With over 15 years of leadership experience, I've had the privilege to be taught and to teach. Being bi-vocational, serving in church ministry and working a full-time job in the workplace, was the training ground to develop and hone people skills, manage projects, work across multiple domains simultaneously, and help bring success to those organizations. With my full-time work, I worked various positions that included (but not limited to) team management, stakeholder collaboration, review of documents and systems, Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), thinking critically, and continuing in personal education and growth.With church ministry, I've had the chance to work with great people with responsibilities of creating purpose-driven teams, developing and managing groups, teaching, training, establishing or editing policy, procedures, and documents; all with the goal of achieving each organization's mission in mind. As part of my continued education, I have now shifted my focus to cybersecurity. My vision is to lead in maintaining security, protecting data, assessing systems, managing risk, being involved with Cloud Computing. I am currently enrolled in AWS courses.
