Responsibilities include: - Managed the data process of the 2015 Real Deal study overseeing data for 2 million participants - Lead research and product development around retirement income adequacy - Deliver client specific retirement income adequacy studies - Coordinate ongoing sales effortsOn my client teams I oversee actuarial valuations and other actuarial calculations for over 70 plans (defined benefit, nonqualified pension, and postretirement welfare). Responsibilities include: - Compile and reconcile data for qualified, nonqualified, and postretirement welfare valuations - Perform actuarial valuations required under ERISA, ASC, SSAP, and CAS - Analyze annual liability gain/loss reconciliation - Conduct assumption studies - Perform deterministic forecasts of pension expense and pension funding - Review benefit calculations - Consult with clients on topics including: • pension and retiree medical program design • de-risking and settlement strategies  • current and/or future legislation implications - Develop per capita retiree medical claims costs and health care trends - Manage client communications and presentation materials
