- Primary role is to support the Head of Procurement of the Ministry of Finance in translating government-wide frameworks and policies into our own ministry- Secondly, giving solicited and unsolicited strategic procurement advice to the various managements- Thirdly, responsible for monitoring and assessing the lawfulness and appropriateness of spend, as well as for the provision of procurement information to the various executive boards within the department- Lastly, portfolio holder of the procurement digitisation agenda within the Ministry of Finance.

As a category owner HR, I have been responsible for the tactical and strategic procurement of all people related products and services for the Deloitte NL firm (spend value € 100 mln), such as contingent labour, benefits, health & welfare (BH&W), mobility, recruitment and learning & development. Also been a member of the Global HR Procurement team. My main responsibilities were:- Staying attuned to the member firm’s needs to drive innovation, enhance efficiency, mitigate risks and boost savings- Initiating, supervising and coordinating S2C projects- Playing an active role in formulating and executing the procurement (category) strategy and policy- Carrying out spend analyses and following market trends

Started in a joint role in which I had a shared responsibility for both logistics and purchasing, I switched to a full purchaser position as of June 2017.My key responsibilities were:- Supplier relationship management- Development of the company's own production database- Contract management concerning raw materials- Stock and assortment control

Manager of several government and defence contracts (value >$ 25 mln) for both caterer and retail services, supplying food, material and beverages on a monthly basis, in that way serving thousands of military and embassy personnel in the Middle East.My key responsibilities were:- Securing profitable account development and growth- Ensuring food safe deliveries to remote military sites and/or embassies in the Middle East- Continuous improvement of product assortments and menus
