- Eight-week, paid summer internship that prepares fellows to engage in rigorous empirical research in the social sciences to improve our understanding of public health, the education system, inequality, and population well-being- Worked with Professor Emily Rauscher on a research paper on teacher salaries and student achievement, running regressions and cleaning national SECA and NCES district-level data.

- Teaching Assistant for CSCI0200: Program Design with Data Structures and Algorithms (Spring 2024, Fall 2024) - Lead weekly lab sessions, hold office hours, assist in course development, and monitor an online forum for a class of 400+ students

- Lead a team of eight student analysts to research and advocate for the social and medical needs of older adults in Rhode Island - Drafted revisions and advocated for Rhode Island bill H5505 - Update the national 2014 ASPE Regulatory Review of Adult Day Services in collaboration with Dr. Kali Thomas and Jen Bunker at Johns Hopkins University and NADSA

- Researched and evaluated policy suggestions to update the City’s affordable housing policy - Gathered data and created visualizations of housing and affordability trends using R and Python to present to the city manager and department heads - Connected residents in need of resources to food access, shelters, transportation, emergency healthcare, and rent assistance
