Library Technician
Current- Create, develop and implement 100s of engaging youth events and services, including preschool storytimes and baby playgroups- Co-created 50+ episodes of a Youtube TV show "The Saturday Show", a variety show for kids and their families. I performed as myself, created various segments, played a dog puppet named Peanut T. Puppy, and created stop motion videos following a toy Chicken- Partner and collaborate with local organizations such as the Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra, the University of Michigan Museum of Natural History, Ann Arbor Public Schools and the Ann Arbor Storytellers Guild to bring public events featuring quality musicianship, science, storytelling and art to young patrons- Administer annual kids writing and comic contests- Lead library tours and visit local schools to lead assemblies promoting our Summer Game and services- Initiated an internal review of AADL's Korean book collection, transliterating each title into Revised Romanization- Launched the Adult ESL Reader collection across all 5 locations of AADL- Promote our services through off-site outreach opportunities (such as local events and festivals)- Serve on departmental and system-wide teams to deliver related action items on schedule
