During the month of October the location for Scarborough Renaissance Faire transforms into a haunted theme park called Screams with 5 haunted houses, games, food, drinks, karaoke, shopping, and more! As the Test of Strength Game Master I was responsible for enticing patrons to come and test their might. Bringing energy and charisma to draw crowds, create an air of competition for a jovial experience. Handled high volumes of customers and quickly made cash transactions in an accurate manner. Nightly cash drops of up to $500. Responsible for keeping track of large swinging hammers and maintaining a clean and safe game area nightly. Happily dressed up in costumes to add to the thrilling Halloween environment.

TABC Certified. Every Spring in Waxahachie, TX the Scarborough Renaissance Faire comes to life! For eight lovely weekends I am a member of the Special Events Team, where our duties are to setup for; Weddings, Company Picnics, Girl Scouts Ceremony, Renewal Ceremony, Ale Fest, and Mother's Day Brunch. I was responsible for pulling supplies and coordinating with the kitchen staff, as well as, staying in contact by radio with managers when multiple events overlapped. Ensuring that food and drinks were properly stored and handled. Decorated pavilions according to selected package options for the events. Repeated setups, cleanups, and breakdowns between events. Providing an exciting and unique experience by dressing in period specific attire and being in character as an English Villager. Taking a weekly inventory of supplies and beverages. I had the honor of working with Franconia Brewery as the bartender for their keg tapping ceremonies held on certain days at the fair, where I was responsible for cash handling and pouring drinks and drawing a crowd.

Hired as an apprentice cosmetologist, I spent much of my time under the guidance of seasoned professionals, watching and learning the skills to become an accomplished hairstylist. Much of my time was also spent learning the day-to-day functions of the Salon. Including; greeting clients and offering refreshments for their visit, updating schedules and booking new appointments, answering phones, making confirmation calls, assisting in product sales, returns and exchanges. Opening and Closing procedures, including counting down the drawers and handling deposits. As well as, cleaning and organizing displays and product shelves, weekly inventory, product orders, shipping and receiving. I was able to utilize and refine time management skills to assure that the Salon's operations ran smoothly and that stylists and clients were kept comfortable and happy. I've had the honor of representing the Aveda brand and Salon at the Dallas' Women's Expo.

Hired on as a Seasonal Sales Associate, I was motivated to show my integrity and work ethic to be kept on as a Sales Associate throughout the year. I started off as a door-greeter, where my responsibilities were to greet every customer, let them know what the current sales and promotions were, and to assist any customers who needed help getting an item, or answering questions about products. From there I learned register operations. Organizational and cleaning skills were required to maintain a nice inviting shopping environment. Checking in shipments and marking down clearance items. Assisting customers in finding the products they wanted, including calling sister locations and checking online. I quickly became one of the only employees trusted enough to help the managers complete plan-o-grams. I was selected to Key Holder/Lead Sales Associate during the next Holiday season, unfortunately I also started working at Willie & Coote Salon full-time and couldn't commit to the flexible schedule required to hold the Key Holder position at Hot Topic.

Personal Assistant and Administrative Assistant to a local Jewelry and Interior Designer. I was hired temporarily to update Ms. Davison's contact book and was kept on as her personal assistant afterwards. I was responsible for accounts payable, shipping and receiving, invoice creation, customer inquiries and orders, inventory and supplies. My talents in graphic design were utilized to create marketing flyers for events and sales. I was also able to use my creativity in learning jewelry design and created several jewelry pieces available for purchase. I was responsible for booking spaces at sales events and expo's and representing Sally Davison Designs at those events. Handling travel arrangements and transportation. I built up a rapport with several suppliers and artist we worked closely with.
