First few years in failure analysis, then spent a few years in materials research. While company didn't work, it was an incredible journey where I was able to:- Build a number of robotics and automation tools like the following: + Refurbished and reprogrammed a 5 axis SCARA robot to fully automate IV testing, IR and NIR scanning with fully automated testing and reporting + Invented a new high velocity cutting machine that could slice our solar cells without creating defects, that ended up being scaled up across the factory + Many others- Set the world record twice for thin film solar efficiency through innovative semiconductor design- Built deep expertise in statistical analysis and linear modeling of very large data sets- Co-authored multiple patents on technology ranging from semiconductor material design to laser ablation
