Responsibility handled as part of Hedge Fund Accounting team:- ● Responsible for making sure all activities of ongoing deliverables works smoothly and result in high quality service for the client. It includes activities but not limited to, booking of trades, management fee calculation, accrued expenses, valuation of investments, financial/investor report preparation and any adhoc reporting. ● Ensuring the calculated Net Asset Values (NAVs) are accurate with key attention to results produced by various derivatives dealings like Futures, OTC products, CDS and also by other traditional products like Bonds and Equities. ● Lead the onboarding of new funds by ensuring proper set up in accounting software - reading through the governing document PPM with key emphasis on the fees structure. ● Dealing in various complex performance fee structures with HWM, with/without hurdle rate, also ensuring equalization working with regards to new money coming into the fund. ● Working on automation to carry out work efficiently, streamlining complex varied data to enable to load the trades and perform reconciliation faster to achieve the delivery deadlines. ● Leading and coordinating weekly/monthly management calls. Acting as a primary day-to-day contact for client service groups, auditors and other fund participants, to provide any information/clarification needed with regards to the fund. ● Manage and motivate a team of 10 Accountants and contribute to the achievement of team objective
