I am an entrepreneur in the field of short-term rentals leveraging my experience in the Indian rental markets with the largest company in the sector. My job at Airbnb exposed me to problems faced by both owners when it came to marketing their properties and issues travelers faced while looking for quality. I was previously working at Airbnb as an In Market Host Acquisition Specialist. I was a part of the initial team set up in Maharashtra and had been with Airbnb since the start of the program in the Market. My job role involves finding potential hosts and explaining the concept and onboarding these hosts on the Airbnb platform, guiding them out with any issues they faced during the process and later on. I also take photos of the properties and help my hosts get their content right in the quest to make an outstanding listing that stood out to prospective customers. I was initially in the Pune urban market and after six months was tasked with opening the biggest vacation rental market in Maharashtra Lonavala, and moved on to Mahabaleshwar the second biggest market after a period of three months. Since the start of 2017, I have been focusing my efforts on building extremely high-quality & high-value supply in the markets of Alibag, Matheran-Karjat, and Lonavala.
