Handing Production & Welding

● Coordinate with the Pipe line Stringing team and ROW team (for the timely delivery of material to site. (After inspection and documentation of Incoming material).● Co-ordinates with the client for the timely inspection of the various activities involved in pipe line ● Inspection of Incoming pipes with respective to test certificates, and necessary documents.● Preparing Pipe book & Bar charts and DPR for the progress and updating.● Witness welder performance qualification Test (WPQT) as per ASME SEC-IX and API-1104 and as well as WQT Record reviewing to see the actual tested and range qualified.● Involved in welding of pipe line by using PWT technique (Automatic GMAW welding).● Preparing Inspection and test plan (ITP) for different activities and submitting the same to client for approval.● Preparing and maintaining the sequence of welding according to the site conditions .( As per the ROW clearance )● Preparation of WPS, Qualification of welders, planning of welding sequence and Coordinating with NDT activities. ● Reviewing of NDT Reports like RT & UT.● Preparing the documents for Auto welding & Manual welding ,Trenching, Tie in , Field joints coating , Holiday testing , Hydrostatic testing , backfilling activities.● Providing Technical leadership & strategic directions to the team members as per the requirements● Preparing the schedules and maintaining the Calibration records for all the measuring equipment’s.● Onsite Inspection of welding related activities (Fit up, Welding parameters, Weld Visual, Final dimensions after welding, consumable storage condition and baking records).● Weld metal calculation, consumable planning & Consumable TC’s review.
