I am a Chartered Mechanical engineer having 14 years of work experience as Thermal & Mechanical Engineering of Heat Transfer Equipment & Static Packages. It mainly includes Air Fin Coolers, Special designs of Ambient Air Heaters in LNG Regasification, Air Cooled Vacuum Steam Condensers, Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers, Vacuum Ejector Packages, Liquid Ring Vacuum Pump Packages, N2 Generation Package, Gas Process Packages and Chemical Injection Packages in various domestic as well as international projects of Oil&gas, LNG, Petrochemical & Chemical sectors.I have handled these Static Equipment & Packages while working in the world’s pioneer EPCs, Fluor Corp. & L&T-Chiyoda Ltd. Additionally, I have manufacturing experience of world’s reputed companies like Kelvion (formerly known as GEA btt) and Graham Corporation USA.My responsibilities includes study of Invitation to Bid (ITB), raising Technical Queries to Client, Thermal sizing of Air Fin Coolers using HTRI software, Sizing of Vacuum Ejector System in Graham's proprietary program, preparation of Mechanical Data Sheets, preparation of Material Requisition (MR), review of Bidder’s offer and closure of all technical clarifications, preparation of Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE), review of Vendor Documents & Drawings, participation in 3D-Model review & HAZOP study and interfacing with all functional disciplines, Vendor & Client.I am familiar with the special project & specification requirements of most of the world renowned Owners, PMCs, EPCs & Licensors like Saudi Aramco, ADGAS, PDO, KNPC, Shell, IOCL, Reliance, Technip, Toyo, NRL, ERC, NSRPC, Fluor, EIL, Axens, Jacobs, UOP, Foster Wheeler, Lummus technology, Chevron etc.I have advanced knowledge of HTRI software and working experience of International Codes (ASME Sec. II, Sec. VIII Div. I & II, PED) & Standards (API 661, HEI, NACE). I have handled these Equipment & Packages in various metallurgies including Carbon Steel, Low Alloy Steel, Stainless Steel, Duplex SS, Super Duplex SS, Incoloy 825 & Inconel 625 etc.I also do the cost estimation and cost optimisation of equipment & packages using my technical expertise & design optimisation. I have a good negotiation tactics & skills. I have a sound commercial knowledge and do the review of Customer's Commercial Terms and Conditions, negotiates the same with Customer. In short, I takes full responsibility of all pre-award activities.Additionally, I prepare P&ID, PFD-HMB, Hydraulic Calculations of process vapour lines, liquid lines & steam lines for the Vacuum Ejector Systems.
