Procurement Management• General Contract Administration, Procurement & Legal Matters Interpret the Contract & identify responsibilities, correspondence, obligations, ambiguities and/or additional item payments/claims preparation.• Preparation of MOU& detailed agreement, Purchase Orders for timely procurement of materials and capital equipment to ensure smooth execution of projects . Dealing with major subcontractors & strictly adhering to the time limit of clauses leading to variations, arbitration & other obligations.• Develop and negotiate agreements to maximize profit on each contract and drive the contracting • Negotiate contractual documents, in consultation with Legal and/or Finance, as required• Provide advice, support and guidance as needed and serve as a mentor to colleaguesProject Execution Monitoring• Monitor project schedule (package-wise/ domain -wise)• Identify possible resource constraints and initiate preventive measures• Mobilize resources and take corrective action to resolve problems• Clarify priorities to the team and vendors, • Approve expenses within own limits of authority• Study change requests received from consultants/contractors, if acceptable communicate rationale for the changes & seek the higher approvals in order to ensure project execution is within the budgeted cost, time, quality & EHS parametersVendor Development and Monitoring• Preparing Annual Rate Contracts with vendors & timely renewal of contracts after review. • Identifying & developing quality vendor / supplier base for cost effective procurement of materials, spares and consumables; routine & project basis.• Periodically review and monitor vendor performance based on defined performance evaluation parameters
