As a retired civil servant with over 32 years of experience, I have a wealth of knowledge and skills in public policy, urban planning and project execution, defence land management, geo-political and defence issues. My core competencies include municipal services, property tax, town planning & building regulations, public works, schools & hospital management, human resource management, land acquisition, defence land management, RS and GIS tools for land survey, land optimization. I specialize in public policy matters.In my most recent role as the Director General of Defence Estates, I headed a government organization in India that manages defence land and management of cantonment towns, where I was responsible for financial management, service delivery, community engagement, and trade associations. I have also contributed to policy making on multiple aspects including land, cantonments, land acquisitions, property taxation, personnel matters and accounting system of local bodies. I have acquired a Master of Philosophy degree in Strategic and Defence Studies from the National Defence College, and a Master of Business Administration in Public Policy from the University of Ljubljana. My mission is to leverage my expertise and experience to support and advise organizations and institutions in such domains.
