I have nearly 24 Years of experience of Indian Navy and retired from the active service in 2009 as a Commander. I have had experience of serving on board various Indian naval warships as Electrical officer and Head of Department- Electrical Department. While in the Navy, I have been the commissioning Electrical officer for two warships, one in the erstwhile USSR and another in an Indian defence shipyard in India. I was also the first officer-in-charge of a new raising unit of an naval quality inspection cell for a marine armament product.I was in the Ministry of Defence - Department of Defence Production as a DPO(Navy) for over three years where apart from activities associated with naval projects in defence shipyards and BEL, I have been keenly associated with DOFA for naval offset issues.Specialties: Defence Offset
