I headed an Audit Management Group (AMG) in the Office of the Chief Auditor of the State Government of Madhya Pradesh. As the Head of the Group, I was responsible for the Compliance, Performance and Financial audit of the Departments of Energy, Forest, Public Works & Rural Drinking Water Supply of the Government of Madhya Pradesh. As the Executive Head of the AMG, I was also directly responsible for leading 22 Audit Teams (of approximately 150 members).My job responsibilities included the financial scrutiny of expenditures of approx $ 2 Billion per year on the infrastructure assets (roads, bridges, drinking water pipelines, government buildings) created by the Departments of Public Works and Rural Drinking Water Supply with the Government budgetary support and external funding from MDBs. I was also responsible for the Financial Audit of the Electricity Generation, Transmission, Distribution and Renewable Energy Companies with an annual turnover of over $ 12 billion.

During this period, I headed the Economic Sector Group in the Office of the Chief Auditor of the State Government of Madhya Pradesh. As the Head of the Group, I was responsible for the Compliance, Performance and Financial audit (Audit Planning to Audit Execution to Reporting to the provincial legislature) of the 32 operational Public Sector Companies (PSUs) of the State Government of Madhya Pradesh operating in diverse sectors such as Industrial Park Development, Information Technology, Hospitality, Electricity Utilities and Power Generators with a cumulative annual turnover of $ 13 billion. As the Executive Head of the Economic Sector Group, I was also directly responsible for leading 8 Audit Teams (of approx 50 - 75 members)

Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India

The position was part of the On-The-Job field training. During this period, as the head of the Audit Teams which conducted the audit of a District Medical College and hospital, the Electricity Utility of Tamil Nadu (TANGEDCO) and the Indirect Taxes Department of Tamil Nadu, I was responsible for the issuance of Audit Memos highlighting the non-compliance to the rules and regulations by the auditee units.Prepared strategy papers on the following topics, 'Harnessing Data Analytics in the Indian Audit & Accounts Department, 'Integrated Financial Management System of Government of Tamil Nadu' and 'Management of Pension Funds by the Government of Tamil Nadu'. I was also entrusted with the task of chalking out the 'Restructuring Strategy' for one of the Department's Office, which is the office of the Chief Accountant of the Government of Tamil Nadu,' on account of wiDepartment'siness Process automation in the Account's Offices across the Department.

Shimla Area, India

Ranked in the top 0.1% of a nationwide pool of 460,000 applicants in the Civil Service Examination 2016 and inducted into IA&AS, the public auditor cadre of the Government of India. Underwent a one-year-long residential training program for recruits of the Indian Audit & Accounts Service (IA&AS) at the National Academy of Audit & Accounts in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh.Completed two semesters in this program on the following subjects: Commercial Accounting, private-sector Sector Financial Reporting, Government Accounting, public-sector financial Reporting, public-sector auditing, Cost and Management Accounts, Financial Auditing, Compliance and performance Auditing, Public Finance, Public Expenditure, Revenue & Resource Management & Information Systems Audit.I also underwent two weeks of training in IIM, Ahmedabad, the National Institute of Public Finance & Policy (NIPFP), and the National Institute of Financial Management on multiple subjects mentioned above as part of the program. I also underwent training in the Bureau of Parliamentary Studies and Training (BPST), Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), and Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) on different domains.

Tiruchchirappalli Area, India

Chairperson for Pragyan 2015, an International Techno-Managerial organisation of NIT Trichy. At 21, I was chairperson of the organisation, which has over 700 student volunteers and a budget of 1 crore INR. I headed the core committee of 25 representatives from 19 teams, from marketing to the organising committee to media relations. Also, I headed all the student-related activities related to the conduct of Pragyan and regulated them at appropriate stages.Initiated 25 new initiatives in Social Responsibility, In-Reach and Outreach activities. Some of them took the shape of Divergent(a talk series by eminent personalities who took divergent paths in their careers and succeeded) and YoungSTIR (A science exhibition competition for school students), InHOTT ( Inter Hostel Technical Tournament in NIT Trichy ), Dhisai (JEE guidance programme across 2400 schools of 7 districts in Tamil Nadu ) et al.
