After High School (class 5 as at then) I got a USSR Scholarship through the Bureau for External Aid to study in Karkov USSR Machine Building College from 1978-1983 inclusive of a one year preparatory course. I graduated as one of the tops of my class with "red certificate" ( i.e a first class with honor certificate )I proceeded to forward my Academic prowess by obtaining a Post Graduate Diplomat Certificate at Covenant University 2015 - 2017.Prior to this, I worked at Ajaokuta Steel Company LTD 1984-2004. Where I headed the Engineering Manufacturing workshop which involved the production of different parts including gears and machines. I also took part in the installation of machines and equipments. Equipment maintenance and quality control was also my forte. I became a staff at Covenant University one of the leading private universities in Nigeria and Africa in the year 2007 as Principal Technologist. There I dedicated my time, energy and knowledge to the advancement of the Mechanical Engineering Department and eventually got promoted to the post of Pioneer Chief Technologist, where I supervised a team of over 18 staff.While at Covenant University, I took part in researches, international conferences and went through different trainings to improve my proficiency in the field of Mechanical Engineering in areas such as; AutoCAD, Advanced Manufacturing Methods and the likes. I also made two international journal publications in the development of Blender Hammer Machine.I am not only a NATEL and COREN registered Engineer but was also a distinguished COREN nominated resource person for Osun State University accreditation in the year 2017. I also participated severally as a member of the Board in the recruiting process at Covenant University.I took part in the Mechanical aspect (i.e Motion Distribution to be specific ) of an Electric Vehicle project one of the first of it's kind in Nigeria. A fit which as aired on the African Independent Television AIT.As the Chief Technologist, I also supervised and assessed the projects of many students prior to their graduation such as Student Work Experience Project ( SWEP a special training incorporated by the institution to provide the students with practical and technical hands-on training in the Workshop and Engineering Facility ), Student Industrial Works Project ( SIWES an industrial training incorporated by ASUU and COREN Engineering Institutions in Nigeria ) amidst other projects of which several students consulted me even after graduating from the institution.
